| Jeg beskriver mig selv som | Soon to be divorced (the "marriage" has been over for at least 10 years). Ready to get on with life. And want to find someone that I can respect, and will respect me as well. I get along better with Law Enforcement/Firefighters/EMS/Military men. They get my cynically realistic sense of humor. I've been in ER/Trauma/Critical Care nursing for 30 years now... (where does the time go??) I think the reason I feel drawn to these people are we have many common job stressors. And we can understand each other. When we make mistakes... people die. That can be hard for civilians to understand. I want to have a partner that "get's it". When I say it's been a REALLY bad day... you know exactly what I mean, and I will understand you also. We can be there for each other. And we can also enjoy life away from work. Have similar interest. I don't mean being together constantly. I wasn't born a Siamese twin for a reason... it would drive me crazy. So, we don't have to be "joined at the hip". You will have your activities you enjoy that I can't stand, and vice versa. That's what keeps a relationship interesting. Also please be able to communicate. I'm very intuitive, but I'm not a mind reader. You will need to tell me what is wrong. If you don't want to talk about it, then say so. A simple " Yeah, there's some stuff bugging me, but I don't want to talk about it" will suffice. Also let me know if it concerns me or not. That's a female, hormonal thing. We tend to assume it's our fault. Sorry guys, that's how God made us. LOL! I like to laugh I can't stand liars, Immature Mamas boys make me sick! I'm looking for a partner, not somebody to raise! Love being around friends & family. Take me to the gun range when I'm really tense, angry, etc... I'll be fine after I totally obliterate a couple of targets! LOL It is a stress reliever and you know it! Ok, this should give you a little bit of insight to me... if you're still reading, Good! Maybe there's some chemistry here. Everyone needs friends with which to talk. If we become friends and that's all... cool. If it becomes more... Great! We both hit the jackpot! Talk with you soon I hope! |
