I guess I could be described as a down-to-earth tom-boy with a bit of class! You'll probably see me in a dress maybe once or twice a decade (usually at somebody's wedding or a funeral). The rest of the time it's jeans, boots, t-shirts, and usually my baseball hat. That's not to say that I don't know how to act or dress like a lady when called upon. I just feel more comfortable dressed-down, rather than dressed-up.

I'm more of the quiet type, until you get to know me. I'm more comfortable with a stud-finder, hammer, and nails and working on projects in the garden or fixing things around the house than I am in the kitchen or at a social event! When I was younger I dreamed of becoming a rally driver! Formula 1 and Nascar are interesting to watch but I find them too confining. Going round and round the same track. Give me the wide open road (or off road). Now that's fun.

I'm passionate about my children and my family. Family is very important to me. It’s probably the Sicilian side of me that loves family so much. My dad has 4 sisters and 2 brothers so there were always big family gatherings when I was growing up. There was always lots of great food, wine, and lots of talking, laughing, and fun. Now that I live here in California and am 5400 miles away from all my family, It really makes me realize how much family means.
